[1] Ripton also accepts paper and plastic shopping bags, styrofoam packing peanuts, deposit bottles, & household batteries. There is a charge of $1 per car at this recycling center.

[2] Shoreham also accepts styrofoam packing peanuts and deposit bottles.

[3] At Starksboro, there is a requested $3 donation per household per visit.

District Transfer Station Hours

The Transfer Station is open M-F, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, and Sat, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

HazWaste Center Hours

The HazWaste Center is open Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – Noon, and Sat, 9:00 AM – Noon

District Office Hours

The District Office hours are M-F, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Location

Both the Transfer Station and the District Office are on Route 7 about 2 miles south of town, located on the east side of the highway between the U.S. Forest Service and Breadloaf Construction.
