Vergennes Used Oil Collection Tank Closes

The District’s aging used oil collection tank at the Vergennes recycling drop-off (at the intersection of Canal and West Street) will be retired on July 16. We’ll continue to recycle your used oil at the District Transfer Station 6 days per week, year round. The following businesses in the Vergennes area also recycle used oil:

  • A&D Auto (877-2408)
  • Atkins Auto (453-4709)
  • Denecker Chevrolet (877-3600)

Please call ahead before bringing oil to the garages. For more information, please call the District at 388-2333.
