Sealed Bids for the construction of the Addison County Solid Waste Management District Waste Transfer Station and Office Wastewater and Site Improvements Project will be received by the Addison County Solid Waste Management District, at their office located at 1223 US Route 7 South, Middlebury VT 05753, until 1:00 PM local time on June 2, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be opened and read. Due to COVID-19, these bids will not be publicly read aloud, but a bid tabulation will be prepared and distributed upon request by interested parties. The project consists of a base bid and one bid alternate. The base bid consists of the construction of an expanded wastewater disposal system, relocation of electrical utilities and the expansion of the parking area. The bid alternate consists of the repair of a buried fiberglass reinforced plastic tank.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Blueprints, Etc (802-865-4503). Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during their regular business hours. Bidding Documents are available as hard copies or via FTP download (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $30. A package of both hard copy and electronic copy can be provided for a non-refundable charge of $40. Non-refundable shipping charges will be assessed for hard copies.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM local time on May 14, 2021 at the ACSWMD Transfer Station (1223 US Route 7 South, Middlebury VT 05753). Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
