Consultations

Our outreach staff are available to consult with Addison County businesses and organizations about waste reduction and diversion, composting, hazardous waste disposal, compliance with Vermont's Universal Recycling Law, and more. All consultation services, including waste audits, are free of charge. Contact us to get started.

Bins, Signs & Stickers

ACSWMD has desk-side recycling bins available for businesses. Desk-side recycling bins are $5. We also supply kitchen collectors ($6) and 5-gallon buckets ($5) to collect food scraps. These are perfect for your office kitchen or break room!

We also provide signs and stickers free of charge to clearly label your receptacles for trash, recycling, and food scraps.

Training & Presentations

ACSWMD can train your staff in proper recycling, food scrap diversion, home composting, special recycling, and hazardous waste identification and disposal. Contact us to schedule a training for your organization.

Understanding Food Scrap Management

Businesses have a few options for complying ban on food scraps in the trash, effective July 1, 2020 under Vermont's Universal Recycling Law (Act 148). Read our summaries for businesses and landlord/property managers below, and feel free to contact us with any questions.
