Disposal Options

Used drywall must be disposed of as trash. New drywall scraps that have not been painted or coated can be recycled through a special recycling program located at the District Transfer Station. To qualify for special recycling, drywall must be dry and not moldy. Recycled drywall will be processed into fertilizer products.
