Disposal Options
All foam packaging and containers, including takeout containers, meat trays, coffee cups, and Styrofoam blocks should be disposed of as trash. Recycling expanded polystyrene (Styrofoam) requires a critical mass of material and special equipment that is not available in Vermont.
