Paper Shredder

Paper shredders are often made from several different types of materials, some of which can be recycled as scrap metal. The top unit is usually very heavy due to the metal gears/teeth inside. If it can be separated from the bottom, the top unit can be recycled as scrap metal at the District Transfer Station. If the bottom collection unit is at least 80% metal, it can also be can go in scrap metal recycled as scrap metal at the District Transfer Station; otherwise it should be disposed of as trash. If the units cannot be separated, and the entire shredder is not at least 80% metal, then it should be disposed of as trash.
