Produce Stickers

Produce stickers, also known as PLU stickers, are a contaminant in composting because they do not break down and they cannot be removed. Please remove all produce stickers from your fruits and vegetables before collecting food scraps or peels for composting at the District Transfer Station or town drop-offs.
