Disposal Options
Pumpkins and gourds that are not painted can be composted at home (cut pumpkins into smaller pieces to speed decomposition) or brought to the District Transfer Station to be recycled with leaf and yard waste.
Cost
Leaf & Yard Waste
- Grass clippings, leaves, small twigs — 3 cubic yards or less: $2 per load
- Over 3 cubic yards: $20 per load
